- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I went through a couple of nightmare vet experiences before I finally found Dr. Woodcock. I am so glad to have finally found the kind of vet you expect when looking for someone to take care of your beloved pet's healthcare needs. He is very gentle with the animals and is mindful of speaking in hushed tones so as not to scare them. You can really tell he actually loves animals which is, of course, something you expect in a veterinarian (but surprisingly not what you always get). He performed a procedure on one of my cats and my kitty wasn't doing so well post-op (he has a very weakened immune system) so Dr. Woodcock gave us his personal cell phone number to call if there were problems over the weekend. I really didn't want to have to use it but my cat was worrying me on that Sunday so I did have to call him. Dr. Woodcock came into the office on a Sunday! I was honestly so shocked he would do that. I am telling you, you are NOT going to find a vet in southern Illinois that cares more than him (trust me-I've looked!!)
